Taiho Pharmaceutical strives to introduce to the market pharmaceuticals that provide total support for cancer treatment. It does this by focusing on care for the pain of cancer and side effects caused by anticancer drugs such as nausea and vomiting in addition to proposing combination therapies of anticancer agents and other drugs in order to rapidly respond to needs of the times. Taiho's medical representatives (MRs), who stand on the frontline of medical care, analyze and study collected data and suggest appropriate treatments tailored to individual situations while maintaining close cooperation with doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and other medical care professionals. They also hold study sessions and lectures for medical care professionals, with whom they communicate while providing the latest information in an effort to back up the progress of patient-centered medical care.
