Taiho Pharmaceutical Constructs Otsuka Group's Kitajima Plant Welfare and Office Building
Sets Up New Company Cafeteria with the Concept of “Mentally and Physically Beautiful”
Taiho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. announced today that it held a dedication ceremony on November 9, 2017, for the construction of the Otsuka group’s new Kitajima Plant Welfare and Office Building in Tokushima prefecture. This new facility was built in order to utilize asset of Otsuka group effectively and to enrich welfare benefit of employees.
Several of the Otsuka group’s welfare and administrative functions, such as the Otsuka Business Support Center1 and Heartful Kawauchi,2 will be moved into the facility. A company cafeteria with a scenic terrace will be set up on the third floor of the facility. “Mentally and Physically Beautiful” is the concept for the cafeteria. As a pharmaceutical company, Taiho Pharmaceutical is paying great attention to the health of employees. Employees can have a healthy meal, such as a calorie-controlled, colorful, healthy lunch with balanced nutrition, or a trip to the salad bar, in the cafeteria. The new facility will offer employees an even more pleasant working environment.
